Written communication skills are essential in all areas of the business environment. Ensuring that all team members have good business writing skills will lead to more efficient operation across the business.

The Business Writing Skills Programme will help increase the efficiency of communication and operations within an organisation by improving written communication.
Throughout the programme you will have opportunities to test your knowledge, practise application, evaluate your understanding, reflect on your insights and track your improvement with both graded and ungraded assessments, including quizzes and assignments. On completion of the programme, you will be issued with a Certificate of Completion.

Week 4 - Module 3: Use communication techniques effectively (8 credits)
Week 5 - Module 4: Writing Reports
Week 6 - Module 5: Writing meeting minutes
Week 7 - Module 6: Writing proposals
Week 8 - Module 7: Executive summary
The Orientation Module introduces you to the Varsity Academy online campus, onboards you to the programme and initiates your engagement with the faculty expert and your fellow participants. You will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the programme details, how to approach online learning and the kinds of activities you will encounter during the programme.
This programme is perfect for individuals who are new to the business environment, as well as established professionals in administrative, managerial and leadership roles.
You will learn first-hand from an industry professional, and your learning journey will be fully supported and supplemented with downloadable tools and PDF notes, case studies, practical application assignments, engagement with subject experts, peer-to-peer learning, and invaluable career guidance and support.

MasterStart (Course Coordinator)
This skills programme will be facilitated by a subject matter expert who has years of experience and knowledge. The facilitator will introduce you to the key concepts and need-to-know. The academic support team is a team of online Course Coordinators who are there to guide you on your learning journey, providing both technical and administrative support. Each course has a dedicated Course Coordinator, ready and able to assist you with: - Technical queries - Administrative queries - Regular mailers to ensure you remain informed and on track - Guidance to ensure effective navigation of the Varsity Academy learning platform
